We have been hearing the news that the National Highways Authority of India(NHAI) has rejected the state government’s request for realignment. NHAI stated that there is no possibility to realign at this stage for RRR and other highway projects.
Sources say that Telangana Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari took the issue to the notice of NHAI chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav as the farmers are agitating against land acquisition and the NHAI chairman made it clear that there is no possibility of Regional Ring Road(RRR) and other green field highway projects in Telangana.
